John C. Schertzinger, OD

Dr. Schertzinger graduated from Indiana University with honors after serving four years in the United States Marine Corp and receiving an honorable discharge. He has been in practice since 1963. He is a former president of both the Kentucky Optometric Association and the Kentucky Board of Optometric Examiners. He was also a trustee of the Southeastern Congress. He is a current member of the American Optometric Association and presently on the Boards of Trustees at both Kentucky Wesleyan College and the Green River Health Department.

Michael Shields, O.D.

Dr. Shields is a graduate of Indiana University. He is a past board member of the Big Rivers Chapter of the American Red Cross and a past board member of the Music at Maple Mount. He is currently a member of the Owensboro Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Owensboro, Inc., and the Downtown Business Association of Owensboro. He is a past president of the Owensboro Lion's Club, and a past Chairman of the Salvation Army and is still a member of their advisory board. He has been in practice since 1975.

Robert Hamilton, O.D.

Dr. Hamilton is a graduate of Indiana University and practiced in Huntingburg, Indiana, for over seven years prior to joining RiverPark Eyecare in the fall of 2003. He is currently a member of the Owensboro Chamber of Commerce. He is a past president of the Southwest Indiana Optometric Society, a clinical examiner for the National Board of Optometry, and a previous board member of the Huntingburg Lion's Club. Dr. Hamilton is heavily involved in LASIK co-management and the treatment of ocular disease. He has been in practice since 1996.
